About the role
As Head of E-Commerce, you will own the e-commerce engine that powers Edurino’s growth across all markets. You will act as the central lead for our online shops and marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon, etc.), paid media, and CRM/retention—operating like a high-performing internal agency for our regional teams. Your focus is on scaling revenue, optimizing spend, and building the processes and standards that enable both central efficiency and local market success.

Your mission at EDURINO
  • Take charge of driving revenue, margin, and customer growth across all online channels, from Shopify and Amazon to further marketplaces.

  • Develop and execute the global paid media and CRM/retention strategies, managing agencies and internal resources for best-in-class performance.

  • Take full ownership of our direct-to-consumer shop and marketplace presence, experimenting, A/B testing, and optimizing conversion rates to maximize sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Execute all paid, CRM, and shop campaigns, acting on briefs and requirements from regional leads to ensure local relevance and impact.

  • Establish and refine processes, dashboards, and frameworks for daily optimization of media, CRM, and shop performance.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and best practices to ensure we stay ahead in e-commerce innovation.

  • Collaborate with brand and content teams to leverage and repurpose assets for paid and organic channels.

  • Align with ops, product, and regional teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and support successful launches and campaigns.

  • Set up and maintain robust reporting, attribution, and analytics to drive continuous improvement.

  • Coach and empower the e-commerce, paid, and CRM teams with a culture of experimentation, learning, and customer obsession.

It is a match if you…
  • 8+ years of experience in B2C e-commerce leadership roles

  • Proven track record of scaling revenue and teams in fast-growing environments — ideally in edtech, toys, or gaming; experience in e-commerce or consumer brands is essential.

  • Deep expertise in Shopify & Amazon (Seller Central), CRM-Platforms, Google Merchant Center, Tag Manager, and multi-touch attribution

  • Highly data-driven mindset, with an affinity for dashboards, frameworks, and performance reporting

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and agencies; strong coaching and mentoring skills to take the team to the next level

About us
What we believe in

We believe that, in addition to hiring the best talent, a diversity of perspectives, ideas and cultures leads to the creation of better products. We hire people who are passionate about the product and team, and we favor ability and willingness to learn over experience. EDURINO is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or gender. We foster a work environment that enables personal and professional growth and always strive to find the truth in discussions, independent of seniority or position as all opinions are respected.

What makes us special

  • A start-up culture based on trust with flat hierarchies. Join an early stage start-up, take on responsibility from day 1 and be part of the ride.
  • A hybrid working mode. Work remotely from wherever you like within Germany or from our office in Munich (Haidhausen).
  • Regular company events. We meet in Munich twice a year and do fun stuff together. Travel expenses covered.
  • Regular team events (online and offline). While remote, we meet online for a pub quiz or a drawing game. While in Munich, we go hiking at Tegernsee, we meet at the "Biergarten" or we do an exit game.
  • A multicultural team and English first as our company language. We believe that a variety of perspectives, ideas and cultures lead to better products.
  • A share package for every employee. You benefit from the exit of a rapidly growing company.
  • Family-friendliness and work-life balance. We have trust-based working hours that offer a maximum of flexibility and self-management.
  • Additional benefits. KITA allowance (Germany), the hardware you need (e.g. Mac or Windows), employee benefit offerings with exclusive discounts, bike leasing (JobRad), and a company pension scheme.

How to become part of the team

  3. We schedule another interview with the direct report of your position. You will elaborate the task or questions you have solved.
  4. You (e-)meet one of the co-founders. Depending of the position, we will now ask you for some references.
